The Alfa Romeo 159 segment was massively delayed originally intended to air during Series 8, appearing in the opening teaser sequence in the first episode, it was initially pushed back to Series 9 and then pushed back further once Hammond's Vampire Dragster Crash reduced the latter to six episodes.Jeremy announces that he is going to be driving the then-new Honda Civic Type R, but before he does, he wants to regale the audience with what made its predecessors such a hit, particularly for the type of "young men who have spiky product in their hair and communicate by grunting", pointing to a young male audience member in a tracksuit. Rugby's Lawrence Dallaglio was the guest star.
